Production Week Rehearsal Schedule
PRODUCTION INFORMATION FOR
“ANNIE GET YOUR GUN’
FEBRUARY 2007
FEBRUARY 5-16
-Check the Call Board regularly…(EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!) to
make sure nothing has changed, or there aren’t important announcements that
pertain to YOU!!!
-Be on time at Olympia HS. You will need to enter at the
main entrance that takes you into the large foyer (they call it the Commons);
turn right and go down the hall to the Auditorium. Bring a sweatshirt (in
case it’s cold there); also bring your homework, musical score/script; pencil;
water bottle; snacks. [DO NOT EAT IN THE AUD!!!]
-Buy your stage makeup, and find an old shirt to wear
while applying it you can bring. Have your items labeled. Bring extra
clean-up items, a towel, and your own hair items, a small mirror, and LIMIT
your electrical items as well!!!
FEBRUARY
17-25: PRODUCTION WEEK HAS ARRIVED!!!
Be rested and ready! Avoid eating chocolate,
drinking/eating milk products this entire week. Drink LOTS OF WATER!!! Don’t
share any food or drink w/ others.
-Saturday, February 17 is a VERY IMPORTANT date!
We load in all our props, costumes, and your large bins. The dressing rooms
are cleared (NEVER TOUCH ANYTHING THAT ISN”T YOURS!!!! THE OLYMPIA STAFF IS
VERY NICE TO ALLOW US ACCESS TO THEIR SPACE!). Remember to keep your space
clean and picked up! No parent is responsible for YOUR mess!!!!
a) 9-12 noon: students will assemble in the
foyer outside the aud for their makeup workshop. Bring photos of the way you
would like your hair to look; also your make up, your mirror, and all
accessories. During this time we will help one another get everything you
will need designed for the production. BOYS: be sure to be clean shaven!
GIRLS: bring something to hold back your hair! DON”T
FORGET YOUR OLD SHIRT!
b) 9-12 noon: also during this time Mr.
Messineo (our sound designer) will call those students who will be using body
mics into the aud for a sound level check. You will be asked to speak and
perhaps sing for a bit and then you will be done.
c) 1-4pm: Sound Run-thru….This will be so
that our Sound Crew can get levels on a variety of numbers in the show. We
will do several scenes, many of the song/dance numbers, but in no particular
order. Do NOT leave the building, and please stay where you have been told.
You may be asked to go out and run a scene, a particular number, or an entire
dance. We will have scenery, lights, and some costumes.
d) There is a supper available for $3.
-Sunday, February 18 is a LONG DAY!!!! The pit
orchestra will be rehearsing with us today! We will also have all our lights,
sound, props, sets in place. Be patient. Do not leave the auditorium area
unless you are asked to do so. Keep your conversation quiet.
Monday, February 19/Tuesday, February 20: Get rest
in the morning. When you come in the afternoon we will have
notes/announcements and then rehearse. I encourage you to bring comfortable
clothes and something to do during your “down” time. Supper is available to
purchase.
Evening: We will do costumes, hair, and makeup. Prior to
all evening dress rehearsals AND performances we will have 20 minute warm-ups
in the vocal room 45 minutes prior to “curtain.” You may arrive in any state
of dress, but DO NOT BE LATE! No one is allowed back stage other than the
cast, crew, and parents who are serving in some capacity that is assisting or
coordinating. During each rehearsal/performance notes will be sent backstage
for you to read. Make it a point of reading what is hung for you to see.
Check off your name when you have read the notes that apply to you. At the
conclusion of the evening, be sure to return your body mic to the sound
technician; clean up your dressing room space; report to the aud for any last
minute announcements.
-Wednesday, February 21: There is no rehearsal in
the afternoon. Be at the school by 4:30pm. Do your hair, makeup, costume
check. If anything has to be repaired, cleaned, etc, see a costume mom
immediately. Get your body mic. Report for warm ups 45 minutes prior to
curtain. You will NOT be allowed into the aud during this performance. There
is NO FOOD available to purchase today from Mrs. Stacey OR from our
Concessions. Bring your own beverages, water, etc. Mr. Klein will begin the
overture as close to 6:30 pm as possible. Parents are invited to return at
9:30 to take photos, but there is NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY allowed during ANY
PERFORMANCE!!!

LEG!!!!
-Thursday, February 22-Sunday, February 25: Report on
time! Allow yourself time to be ready before warm-ups! Please read the notes
that are sent back for the cast/crews. Return your mic at the conclusion of
the show; report to the aud for announcements after you have changed. Clean
up your space!!! Remember to say “thanks” to the adults who are helping
you!!!!
